Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was an athlete and captain of 2012's Fierce Five as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold on both the floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze medal was awarded with her balance bar. It made her the first American gymnast at the Olympics to win the most medals. She won the gold for team during the 2016 Olympics and made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals in both the all-around individual and floor exercise. The break was for three years between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also took home 2 World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began at the age of two and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly has joined her local Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandma. Aly is planning to pursue a career as a designer. She hopes to pursue expanding her trademark collection of leotards. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be released this year.
